AKTION CLUB

Aktion Club is a community service group for adults with disabilities.  Sponsored by Kiwanis International, Aktion members learn important leadership skills and participate in community activities.  The local Kiwanis chapter is sponsoring an Aktion Club at Sandco Industries.  The club has been involved with the Kiwanis Peanut day sale, the Pancake Festival and the soup kitchen.  They have made over $2000 in donations to the YMCA Learn to swim program, The Red Cross Japan Relief fund, Fremont Soup Kitchen and the levy campaign for the School of Hope/Sandco.  Aktion Club meets once a month.  Members of the club are: John Selvey, Eva Sanchez, Sarah Morman, Cory Nagy, Deb Velliquette, Brian Ackerman, Rachel Wise, Tonya Meyer and Katie Reed.
