Our Quality Assurance efforts at the Sandusky County Board of Developmental Disabilities (SCBDD) establishes and implements a system of monitoring for quality assurances, outcomes, satisfaction of individuals, their families, and personal advocates with services and supports provided.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures that the SCBDD operates within the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other accreditation processes.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator also completes Provider Compliance Reviews as prescribed by DODD in accordance with the DODD Provider Compliance Rule 5123:2-2-04 and established protocol, timelines, and frequency. The focus of these reviews is to assure compliance with rules and regulations. The Quality Assurance Coordinator works with providers so that they meet all state mandated requirements.
