Pathways 2 Employment
Pathways is a cooperative agreement between Sandusky Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities. The mission of the program is to provide vocational services to students who are 14 years old or older with any disability as well as adults with developmental disabilities. Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinators assist participants with developing vocational and/or educational goals, gaining skills to obtain and maintain employment, and successfully transitioning into competitive employment in the community.
Pathways operates on a fiscal year running October 1 thru September 30 of the respective year.
- 134 individuals were served during the 2016 contract year (October 2015-September 2016)
The Last Calendar year did bring a lot of changes and successes to the program. Having two VRC’s fully trained and committed to the contract has been a wonderful thing. Numbers continue to rise and 2016 stands to be a great year! Starting in February, the second Wednesday of each month will be an open house for anyone who is interested in learning more about vocational services through P2E. There are sessions held at 9 a.m. and at 5 p.m.
